Where you could Make it big in Branson in the 90's-top ten list

I almost think you could get famous anywhere. And I also know that in the 90's Branson was quite a place. And maybe a place to get famous. Not Beatles famous, but a place where you could get your musical trade out very fast. There were tons of places you could play. Roy's Loft, Guitars and Cadillacs,Pump boys & Dinets theater would let you come and sing. The club over at Lodge of the Ozarks, and many many more. I cleaned out a closet one time, that had tons and tons of demo tapes. Of people just trying to get a shot in a show here. Some good, some not so good. And the great ones had already been taken out. So they must have gone somewhere. You could be an opening act, and sing for a show. That's what Allen Edwards did. You could sing karioke at Wendy's or the Hillbilly Inn. So maybe the lesson is you can get famous from almost where you are with a little bit of elbow grease you could make it happen. Here are the top ten places you could try and make it Big in Branson in the 90'sClick here for more of the story

)Roy's loft-they had a great band, that could play almost anything. Daryl Croy, David Byrd, Dean Boyer, and sometimes Randy Plummer. These guys could pick. And they were Generous at Letting people up on stage. Grab some CD's and they might let you sell them.
)The Club-Located in Lodge of the ozarks-it wasn't hard to get a show going or sing with the band some nights. The title changed over the years, but it was always a very open place.
)Guitars & Cadillacs-later became Planet Branson when ownership changed. But this was a good place to go and get noticed. Lots of Locals attended here, so you could possibly network.
)The Gravel Bar-Local Bands played here, until the City shut them down. It was a rockin place. Now the Car Museum is there, and doing well.
)The Down under-this was a great place for locals. A little rough at times, but I liked the theme of the place. Lots of local bands, but even stars like Billy Idol played there. A good place to get noticed
)Grand Country-they were good for local acts, and supporting local and upcoming singers. And they still do today.
)The Original White house theater-the owner of this theater, back in the day, did a lot for up and coming stars, and paid a fair wage. He even produced some TV specials to help promote his stable of stars. Just don't see that every day.
)Taco Hut-You could sing out in front of the taco hut, for free to the people passing by. It may of been just Taco Hut but people took the chance as a lot of traffic flowed passed that restaurant.
)Stonbridge-They were always good about letting you come and play and sing at there openers, for their guests.
