Branson is one of the best places to live and work on the planet. And I've lived and worked here for over 27 years. I know a lot of the people who do the hiring, and the people who do the firing lol. And this is a very easy market to make a living in. Branson has three tiers to take a look at for employment. Some offering longterm opportunities, and some short term. Attractions-Open around 7-9 months throughout the year and some all year. This is a job opp that offers a lot of fun. Some are outdoors, and others in, it just depends on what you enjoy.
1) The track-great place with multiple locations and a strong foundation, if you work here, they will be open and stay open. Summers are hot outdoors, and the exhaust from the cars is tough, but for the right person, this is a great job.
2)Titanic-open all year, hosts special events, and the attraction is amazing. This looks to be a good place to work.
3)Ripley's believe it or not-great place, been around for quite a while, and consistent. Indoor work environment, and good benefits. Strong company 5 stars.
4)Fun spot @grand Country-Great place to work, inside corridor and a great company to work for. If video games is your thing, this is a must place to work.
Theaters-the theater segment is slowing down a bit but offers a good work environment, and easy on the joints mentality. jobs include: Ushering,concessions,Parking attendant and box office.
Theaters include: Welk Resort,Kings Castle, Baldknobbers,Prestleys,hughes brothers,Lodge of the Ozarks theater,Jim Stafford,The Mansion, and so many more to list.
Upper Management jobs-Theater Manager,Box office Manager,Sales Manager, Director of sales,Spotlight, Back of house, stage Manager
Hotels-Hotel work is a lot of fun and has been my forte since 1993. Entry level work includes-housekeeping,Front Desk, Maintenance, Grounds Keeper, Breakfast room attendant and much more.
Upper Level jobs include-General Manager,Director of Sales,Sales Manager,Property Manager.
