Top 12 Amazing Restaurants that Kicked the Bucket in Branson, mo      Branson is a Restaurant town. We have tons of incredible eateries over the last 20 years. Today, I wanted to share just a few of them, that have come and gone. And been Amazing over the years. Five Branson stars that passed while playing Branson 1.  Mcguffy's -What an amazing place. They had five here in Branson, Mo. The menu was incredible, from the Mississippi Mud, to the Blackened Chicken Pasta. Even the seafood was an incredible dish. They also had various Mixed drinks, formed in very bright colors. I had met the owner a few times over the years, and he was a very motivated guy. He even had a restaurant in Springfield, Mo. Here is my top ten events you would have never thought, happened in Branson. 1) Styx played the Grand Palace-it was a great show and I was there. They rocked! They had a few members that had replaced previous members, but Tommy Shaw did all the fronting, and he nailed all of the old hits. This was in 1999, so it was the beginning of well the end. Of an era, lol Never will forget this night. 2)A very Robust, shall we say. Member of the Road to Rock, dressed as Gene Simmons drove a collectible car down 76 during one of the car shows. I felt like this was awesome. His make up was flawless, as well as his bass playing. 3)A Limo hearse, drove the length of 76 Country Boulevard, when Boxcar passed away. Why Freeze this winter? Branson doesn't want you to freeze. lol We have a ton of indoor water activities in the winter. These waterparks and swimming pools are open for the winter. Take a splash in the most frigid time of the year,and pretend its summer. 1) GRAND COUNTRY -as well as the king of Branson shows and buffets this hotel and water park are open all year. For a nominal fee you can book your hotel and the water park with a Day Pass. 2) Castle Rock -every time I stop by this great place, it is clean and well kept. Management and front desk are always friendly, and it is full of family fun. A very nice combo of water fun and hotel leisure, this hotel/waterpark is located on Green Mountain drive. A must to check out! 3) The Raddison -Great hotel, with a fantastic pool area, and tons of things to see and do, inside and outside of the hotel. Just so we're clear, very clear. This isn't a let's bash Branson blog. Its a blog to celebrate Branson. All of the crazy things we've seen and done here, are well, quite amazing. Here's a list of 10 amazing shows, you would of never thought were actually here.  1) Elvis and the superstar- Elvis and the Superstar-Superstar originally had an s on it. But since it was just one great man, who did many great stars, I just put superstar. Dave "Elvis" Elhert could do it all. MJ,Elvis,Mark Twain, and many more. He was a delight to many a stroller down business 65 looking for a show to see. He drove a blue corvette with a triangle Elvis and the superstars sign, and he did all the hits, right there in downtown Branson. 2) Cracklin Rose - A tribute to Neil Diamond this was at the Grand Palace. Is there any life left in their eyes? That's what we all say when we think some one is on their last legs. We get the paddles out, we pump them full of 10,000 volts, and we hope for the best. And that's the way we feel at times in good ole Branson, Mo. Some of our great staples have been laid to rest, but might have a few years left in them, if we added a few volts. Beautiful on the inside and out. Many stars have played this historic venue, and we are hoping for the best. Lots of Travelers to this fair city, bring their batter canine half. Either in their RV's or to the hotel or condo.   5 Mouth Watering appetizers that need to come back to Branson, Now! Does the Appetizer make the menu, the Restaurant, the meal? Can a restaurant run without appetizers? The answer is no. And here is a list of world renowned apps, that are no more in Branson, Mo. A host to many amazing restaurants over the years, appertizers were no different.   1. The Pasta House spinach artichoke dip-Their spinach artichoke dip, boasted of cream cheese and artichoke hearts, and came out piping hot. A must have if you were dining there, and is no longer available.  2. Shorty Small's the onion loaf-man was this thing greasy. But attracted menu a diner of delectable delight. If you ate at Small's this was something you just had to try, before the main coarse. We were sorry to see it go.    3. Mcguffy's -Chicken Fingers-Mcguff's was know for its Chicken. Well, these country music legends all played their last full show in Branson, Mo or had theaters. Some passed during the boom years, and some did a twenty year stint here. This is my list and I'm sticking to it. lol!  1} BoxCar Willie -he is number 1 in my book. He went out like no one else. Box had a theater here,on the majestic strip, and when he passed they closed 76 down. Yep! closed it down. A hearse containing Box's body, crawled all the way down all 7 miles of that strip to Highway 65. I had never seen anything like this in my life. I thought it was an incredible salute to a great man. Who helped promote Branson in the 70's long before it was anything and everything.  2) Andy Williams -did a lot for the sport that is Branson now. 10 Majestic Hotels no longer putting Heads in Beds in Branson Mo This is a hotel town. Branson has boasted incredible feats of Hospitality in the last 20 years. With record numbers of travelers stopping to put their body in a bed. And in a market so robust, casualties come. And here is a list of those audacious accomadators.  1. The Thunderbird Inn -in its final stages the Thunderbird in housed people of all walks of life. Really a boutique hotel, it was quite fancy in the 1990's, but by 2008 it had scene better days. And the wrecking ball came a calling.  2. Ben's wishing well -if the names here are any consolation Ben's wishing well is what Branson was made off, before all the franchises came in. Ben's was an atrium style hotel or Spanish style with a courtyard in the middle of all the rooms. Also boasted a Mexican restaurant on the premises. Surveyer's showed up in 2007 and off Ben's went, into a vacant lot.  3. Fiddler's Inn -Demoed to the ground...
