Lots of different kinds of coasters, and fun to be had by all. SDC keeps all of their rides in great shape, and offers so many amenities around all there is to do there.  1)Fire in the hole-I've ridden this one many times over the years. I always thought they kept it very loose on purpose, and rickety. I guess that was true as they've kept it around forever.  2)Time Traveller-This was released a few years ago and is just amazing. From it's sleek look to it's rotatting cabin. It's simply amazing.  3)Outlaw Run- 4)Thunderation-Lots of peaks and valleys on this thing, and lots of speed. My 5 year old daughter loves to ride this one. But I wouldn't advise it for everybody.  5) Powder Keg - 6)Wildfire -Will take you completly upside down and then some. And also has info on their season passes which are a huge benefit if you plan to go all year. The season pass also gets you other discounts around town.  Ages 12 and Up -$72 Ages 65 and up-$70 Kids $62 A family of four could run about $200. The season passes are a better deal!

  Silver Dollar City and CoronaVirus Yes, it is true!  Even though your outside over at ole Silver Dollar City.  They still want you to wear a mask.  And yes when SDC is at it's Silver Dollar City maximum capacity, you will pass other people.  When I was there people were wearing their masks.  I only saw a few people without them. So this was good. All the rides are open and ready to go!     Where to get Silver Dollar City Discount tickets  These days in the land of covid it's very hard to get your hands on discounts to Silver Dollar City. But there are some ways to work the system, to receive discounts.  ========================================================================== Country Mart-was doing a discount day, every so often, where you could get discounts to SDC. You had to come into the store though, and buy the tickets.  Season Passes-Can't be beaten. They do a lot of marketing for these passes, and if you plan to come more than one time, they are agreat value. You can hit all of the festivals, and special events, and there are certain perks that youi get as well. They also save you time not to have to wait at the door. And there are also special days, just for season pass holders.  ==========================================================================

Silver Dollar City has been a staple of Branson, since it's inception.  It was founded on May 1st, 1960.  It has been a force to be reckoned with ever since.  Whole towns have thrived and been built around it's success.  What are the best times to go to SDC?   Is SIlver Dollar City open on Christmas Silver dollar city isn't open the day of Christmas.  The employees get to enjoy time with their families and exchange all those wonderful christmas gifts.  Lots of lights for everyone to see and so much to do this time of year.   Guy Fieri's New Restaurant Guy's new restaurant is open and it's amazing. The gang from Bransonisfun.com had the Nachos and they were fantastic. Service was great and the space looks direclty over the water down there. 

  Silver Dollar City Ghost train during Christmas lights We had a great time at SDC the other day. And a train passed us with no passengers. It was taking guests to view the Christmas lights, and there were 500 people waiting to get on the train. For 2 adults and 2 kids right now, it would run about $300 to get into the magical world that is Silver dollar city.  Best Breakfast in Branson Right now they have the Christmas parage at 8:15, and they clear the streets to watch all the opulance. Lots of Hot Chocolate and fried taters, for the whole family, so it's worth a stop on your christmas list. And when you've had a year like we've had, the landing is a great place to go and get some rest and relaxation.  1) Famous Dave's is now on the strip, where Music City center was.  2) Cantina Loredo-is a fantastic MExican Restaurant which has been around for a minute, don't miss the flames from the majestic fountain at the landing.  3) Flavortown- what an amazing restaurant with amazing Nachos. Guy Fieri knows what's up.    4) Charley's Sub s is now closed. The Pandemic must of really laid a toll on them.  5)Paula Dean's Plates run about $22 and up, but the food they give you is monstrerous. My wife and I chose another Restaurant just because we couldn't be that full.  6) Black Oak Grill-another amazing restaurant, with the Chicken Fried Chicken and amazing appetizers.  7) Joe's Crab Shack Always amazing seafood, and great apps. Shoney’s have been and gone, and they are back again. Billy Gails is the most talked about restaurant in all of Branson. From their Humongous pancakes, supreme bacon and hash browns, this place is not to be missed. As you zoom down highway 265, you can’t help but notice the massive amount of cars,and new parking lot they have built to accommodate them.  From Campers to locals to tourists alike this massive size breakfast of mammoth, is not to be missed. Kirby Vanburch Magic Show Early beginnings      Kirby Vanburch was a Branson staple for over 30 years. Originally coming here in 1993, and playing at the 5 star theater. He began his magic career at the age of 7 in Houston TX.        He brought many singers and dancers with him, to complete his show!  It was an eclectic theater with many acts all on a single stage. With Kirby being the Headliner, along with Philip Wellford at some point. He was known for making Huge things disappear like a helicopter or a corvette.  He played in Vegas for 10 years as well in a show called Wild Things. Before he arrived in Branson and began to build a name! He teamed up many times over his career, with comedians, Magicians, and changed venues a few times.
