Over the years a lot has come and gone here in Branson. I guess what motivated me to write this, were some of the crazy comments on the book. People have been saying since 2000 that Branson was going down, and that the shows were dying, a hell in a hand basket kind of mentality. Well 24 years late Branson is still going strong and enjoying record highs in attendance. Whether it's a show or a shopping mall, or an attraction, something always replaces the dearly departed theater, or attraction.  The Do's and Dont's of Dutch Brothers coffee 1) Don't Get in the drive through, the walk up is a little dangerous if your wanting to order from the window.  2) Do join their club you get a free medium coffee when yoiu join 3) Don't take a right onto 76, go out the back way, as there is no U Turn on 76 to go back west.  4) Do order their sugar free items, they are very good.  Todays Large cup of coffee  Right off of Highway 76 across from Chick Filet.  Traffic was a little hard to navigate and I came in from the neighborhood behind it.  10 Branson Restaurants you must try  The restaurants highlighted here are very good! Flamings is closed at the moment, both locations. But you never know, someone may grab them and get them open again. This was the Calamari at Red Lobster which was fantastic. It was light, with just a touch of grease, and the red dipping sauce was fantastic.   

 Poppos Part 2-the chicken buffalo Pizza vs the Vegan Pizza  I love the fact that my wife has vegan options, where she can go and have a seat and enjoy herself. Poppos is a fantastic place, and the service is always first class. The restaurant is clean and well looked after.       When I attended Lake Side elementary in Pine Bluff, Ar, I worked in the cafeteria. At 9 years old, it  helped me pay for my lunch fees, which really helped my family out. It was all good until one day I flew  through Welch's cleaners window and it changed my trajectory for Kitchen work. I had seventeen stiches  in my left arm, which I still hold a scar today. They put me on light duty, and I was still able to work in  the Cafeteria handing out milks.  I had too much pride to accept free lunch, and I wanted to ease the  75cent burden on my mother everyday. She was single mom raising two rambunctious boys.  It wasn't much but it was my way of pitching in. I was proud that I found another way around not  receiving free lunch.       Lakeside was a beautiful school with what I called blonde brick as it was a lighter color than other  brick buildings in Pine Bluff.
