What's going on with the Grand Palace in 2022? More of the story here! I drive by this sleeping Giant everyday, and I wonder what is going on. They say they have new investors and that they are moving forward. The grounds look good, and are well kept. And changes do abound, but things just seem slow. Above is an old brochure from the Grand Lady from the old days. Some of the stars listed have long since passed. They have a website listed on their reader board, but it's just an opt in for an email list. And that they are taking inquiries or updates, so we shall see what the future holds for the Grand Palace.

Rock Stars from Missouri that you would of Never knownퟝ💪 With the passing of Chuck Berry, I think it's appropriate to write a story about Rock Stars from Missouri. Here is our list, that is sure to surprise you.  1) Chuck Berry -the master of the Johnny B Goode Style of guitar, he passed just a little while ago, who would of thought that he was from Missouri. He was from St. Louis 2) Michael Mcdonald 3) Sheryl Crow I went to a John Mayer show one time in St. Louis, and Sheryl Crow was given the headlining spot, even though John Mayer was the bigger artist. I guess she was from St. Louis as well.  4) David Cook -the American Idol Winner  He hails from Blue Springs, mo.  5) Ozark Mountain Daredevils I often hear about these guys around here in Branson. When he curtains fell these for these stars of Branson      If you had one place to die in this world, why wouldn't you choose Branson. Well, these country music legends all played their last full show in Branson, Mo or had theaters. Some passed during the boom years, and some did a twenty year stint here. This is my list and I'm sticking to it. lol!  1}   BoxCar Willie -he is number 1 in my book. He went out like no one else. Box had a theater here,on the majestic strip, and when he passed they closed 76 down. Yep! closed it down. A hearse containing Box's body, crawled all the way down all 7 miles of that strip to Highway 65. I had never seen anything like this in my life. I thought it was an incredible salute to a great man. Who helped promote Branson in the 70's long before it was anything and everything.  2) Andy  Williams -did a lot for the sport that is Branson now. Where to have your wedding Reception in Branson, mo? The wedding party      I would have loved to have the guy up above sing at my wedding,  but he passed away in 1977. So that's not an option. But we had an emergency reception at Roark Resort who had a great reception hall, as our wedding  location was rained out. So they were a life saver.

They have a great bakery department and will take good care of you. As of this writing there is a $60.00 cake ornament return, but they do a very nice job! Walmart can put a cake together for you at any of there locations in the area. One in Branson and 1 in Branson West, Mo.  Price Chopper has a great cake department as well, on Highway 76.

Should you Use a Wedding Planner for your big day? Top Amazing Places to get Married in Branson I think a wedding planner is a good idea. If you've got the coin and the reassurance that the day will be a big one, with lots of guests, a wedding planner is a must. Big Cedar lodge has a lot of locations to make your wedding magical. Planners aren't always so expensive, if you shop around (especially during these turbulent times) a good one can be had!

Where to find the Pastor to Marry you and your new Bride The Most Amazing Places in Branson to get married We found our pastor online and it was a nice affair all the way around. I wish we could of used our pastor from our Church, but at the time, we were not affiliated with a Church yet. If you find one online, they come and do the job, and don't hang around for too long, as they don't know many people at the gathering. Things about Branson Mo you never knew! bransonisfun.com  Updated 03/26/2020         Not a lot of movies get made here, but the few that do, have a host of things to work with.  The water, the ozark Hills, and the people.  And Winter’s Bone was no exception.  It’s a fantastic movie, made on  a meager budget, with some top rate actor’s and actresses. Jennifer  Lawrence Catapulted to Super success, after this movie.  And shined with her abilities as an actress.  The movie does hint at the use of meth  in them there hills, but after watching I’m not sure it’s a  central theme.  It seems to be more about a tightly nit group, than a  film about the hazards of meth.  Sure it’s there, but it doesn’t focus on it.  Over all it stays focused  on  the survival of living off the beaten path, and  turned out fantastic. Two Amazing Meals at  Texas Land & Cattle and the best view in Branson bransonisfun.com I love a great meal and a view. And the landing affords many a luxury. Such as  one of the best steaks in town. An investor of mine went with me to sit and watch the sunset over the lake, and watch all the great families walk, joggers jog, and boats sale in front of the landing. I think there was even a kayak in there at some point.  We sat down on the deck of  Texas land and Cattle, and were pleasantly surprised at the nice discreet service they had to offer. The bartender took care of us very well. I ordered one of their best steaks with a loaded baked potato  and my investor ordered a stacked burger. The Hottest New Things Coming to Branson 04/20/2026 There are always new things coming to Branson. Either a plan is in place, or a plan is coming to rock this town,inside out one more time. Below is a list of new things to try in the Spring right here in B town. bransonisfun.com         1) The Baldknobbers  have left the building, not really so to speak, but have moved to a new location, right off of Highway 165 across from white oak station. We are excited to see them continue their tenure at their new location. 12 Amazing Restaurants that are no more in Branson, mo Bransonisfun.com Branson is a Restaurant town. We have tons of incredible eateries over the last 20 years. Today, I wanted to share just a few of them, that have come and gone. And been Amazing over the years. Five Branson stars that passed while playing Branson   1.  Mcguffy's -What an amazing place. They had five here in Branson, Mo. The menu was incredible, from the Mississippi Mud, to the Blackened Chicken Pasta. Even the seafood was an incredible dish.
