My top ten dates with my wife in Branson, Mo As I open up all of my Blogs I love  Branson  Bransonisfun.com  and I love to go and do exciting things with my wife in and around town. We Hike, go to shows, Restaurants, and do amazing things with our Kids. And when we get the chance, we plan a great date night. We can usually put together a nice night of sunsets, sushi, and sensation. 1) The Branson Landing Date -we usually show up around six and walk over and have a cup of Joe at the Local starbucks right across from the Landing, and plan what we are gonna do. We will either go have a great meal, or do a little bit of shopping, as the landing rolls its carpets up around six. Its also important about what we want to spend. If its $20.00 we will go over and eat at Charlie's Sub shop, its very good and they prepare everything right in front of you. $40,00 we will eat at the Seafood place on the landing $60.00 Cantina Loredo is where we'll eat.      Side Walking in Branson- my wife and I love to do a bit of walking. To find things to do, window shop,and wonder, and best of all rest. We love to have a good meal, go for a walk, do some antiquing and make a night of it. Here is my list of best spots to do some sidewalking, and you'll be better for it.  1. The Branson Landing -this has to be #1 as you have a good mile of shops, restaurants, bars, and all kinds of places to window shop.  Restaurants: Subway, Garfields,Cantina Loredo,Buffalo wild wings, Fall Guys (Which may have changed now) and tons more. A great array of Restaurants to choose form.  Shops-Chicos,Belks,GNC,Rack room shoes,Dress Barn, Victoria Secret,Maurices,Hot topic, and many more! What to do at Branson Landing in 2022? There is so much to do at the Landing (Said with British accent) that I don't know where to begin. They've added so much (the balloon,Parakeet Pete's) that I get excited just thinking about it. During the summer they have free concerts as well, and it's just a great safe place to take the kids. How to avoid Branson tourist traps   As you all know I love where I live, I love Branson. And as with any tourist areas, there are always a couple of bumps in the road. And in Branson the tourist traps are prevalent, and sometime worth avoiding.  1. If the sign on the outside of the business seems to good to be true, it probably is.  2. If you go in and they try to step you over to something other than buying tickets for your show, i.e. a timeshare tour, a meeting, a sit down, beware they want to sell you something else. This is a  trap! 3.If they ask for a $200.00 deposit on the phone its probably a little fishy. 4. If they call you on the phone via a telemarketer its probably a trap.  5.If they want you to go somewhere other than the theater or the attraction to pick up your tickets, or get your deposit back its probably a trap.  6. If they have a great sign outside, and when you get inside they only have shows that no one would ever go see ...

I was driving on 76 the other day, and I noticed a sneaky trick. One out of three hundred cars try this. As you line up with all the other cards to make your left turn onto 76, from 65. There is always this one car that thinks hey I can cruise over here in this empty lane and then at the last minute work my way into traffic.And I won't have to stay stacked up here in traffic. It happens a lot, and people do it all the time, form multiple places on this great U.S. of A. Step 1-Pick your destination Step 2-Decide where your coming from Step 3-find a back road or side road that is congruent with where you want to go. And every time you visit, get familiar with taking those back roads and you can't go wrong. Especially in the Spring and summer Branson can get pretty hot, and pretty crazy with traffic so each time you come, is another chance to get used to using Gretna road and fall creek road, and the new road next to Dixie Stampede. The Day 76 closed down One of the few times I've ever seen 76 close down, was the day that Boxcar Willies funeral was taking place. It was a nice memorial of an event. They closed 76 down from east to west to give the hearse room to Drive ole Boxcar's body down the length of the strip. I felt like that was a pretty cool honer, considering boxcar was Free Weekly Newsletter with tons of Branson free stuff advertising Branson clear back to the 70's. And new how to market a show and bring people to town. He was very nice to all the locals and was really considered a local himself. Evertime I met him he was very nice. So it was a sight to see that hears working its way down 76, and knowing that it was rare that they don't often close the whole thing down. Pretty awesome. R.I.P boxcar.

Well yesterday I was driving past the new Ferris Wheel, and Fifty Santas were lined up outside. i paused for a second and though "Only in Branson" would you see this. Well not just there, sitting in my office as well over at the majestic Stone Castle hotel. When I stop over and eat their great breakfast, with Eggs, sausage, waffles, and all the trimmings. There are always a ton of Santas over here as well. You see there is, you guessed it, a Santa Convention in town. In all months, July. I've been behind them in their cars, the breakfast line, and even the Ferris Wheel. They have been having their convention here for a while now, and we are glad to have them. Little Sushi house is closed 05/03/2019 This was literally the best Sushi place in Branson. The good people here ran this for ten years!Sorry to see it go ! This was an amazing place. And also held the title of "Best spicey tuna I've ever had" And spicey Salmon, Dynamite roll, and sashimi.       Little Sushi house started about 10 years ago, and was really the first sushi place I fell head over heels for. And got me to try sushi at other places. Lee and her husband worked, what seemed like 24-7 to bring incredible Sushi to Branson.      For them it was Stressful in the beginning. Starting a new Business with just the two of them, and a small child to raise. But once people tried the Sushi it took off. The perfect spices mixed onto the fish inside the tuna, salmon,squid, octupus, white fish, and all the seafood they served.      Over the years occasionally they took a day off, which was slow Sunday.   Branson Says Goodbye to "Tom Mullica If anyone could  market themselves, this guy could. I used to see his advertisements everywhere dressed as the Lovable Hobo. Talent to say the least, was an understatement. After his show ended, I didn't realize he actually had stayed around Branson. From time to time, I would glance over and see him in the supermarket, but that hasn't happened in the last couple of years.  I remember the Huge sign over at the mansion theater with him on the side of the building, before the Peter Pan show came in. And thought this guy must have some chops to carry a theater of this size. And he did for several years. He did an amazing tribute to Red Skelton, and that was his show here in Branson. I love all things food.  Hence my Branson Restaurants page. So when I read about all the great things their doing by Bringing bigfoot to town. I was elated. All the news isn't quite out yet, but from What I suspect its going to be great. And this is just the nice apple pie that Branson needs.  I've envisioned Tacos or Burritos or Hot dogs Chicago style or even pizza. The Trucks are going to be on the lot with the famed Bigfoot ride, and is a very origionel idea. the owners have applied for their permits, so they are serious and not just another rumor. So as I get more news about the famed Bigfoot ride coming to 76 I will keep you posted on what foods they've chosen for the trucks. Bigfoot sightings in Branson once again. No its not the kind of Big foot that could kick the winter blues. But its still a good one, or great one. Bigfoot is coming. The ride and it will over look the luxurious 76 strip, and the 7 acres of Days Inn property. Giving visitors something to smile about. And plenty of internet video and pictures to boot. All of the approvals have been met, with maybe a few still left on the table over at the city. This project has been in the works for a while, and will make a fine edition to Branson. And bring some much needed excitement to Branson, once again.
