  Yesterday at Godfathers Pizza Part 2 Met my buddy at Godfathers again yesterday. And it was amazing. Clean, cozy, and packed to the Gillz.  The buffet looked amazing and the Fried Chicken and Pizza was fresh. It was like a parade of delights.  I'm always impressed with this place, and how fast the service is. My friend had a salad and it was your  standard salad, but there was plenty available. He also had some pudding as well.   Branson Stars we've lost in 2023        2023 has been a rough year, for Branson Stars that we have lost. Coming from a hotbed of 1990's theater stardom, several of these stars made their names somewhere else, and came back to Branson to call it home. Here is a list of some of whom we've lost this last year.     Shoji Tabuchi What an amazing entertainer with a theater on Shepherd of the Hills expressway. His theater boasted a million dollar bathroom, with a pool table in the men's bathroom, and a powder room in the ladies. I saw many remarkable shows of Shoji's there and even a Santa on stilts during Christmas time. He was a good representation of Branson and a great local person as well.   2.    Buck Trent- when I posted the news on facebook, they took down the post. Top restaurants at Silver Dollar City  The apple Dumplings was busy all the time. People coming and going for just the two items that they serve. The aroma was fantastic of course, as apples never disappoint.    Bread sticks must be more amazing than I ever dreamed. Because people were congregated outside this place all day long. So somebody had to be dipping those breadsticks into some amazing suaces.  The Tater twist was another place incredibly busy. People weren't worried about carbs, as they were burning them off, as soon as they came on. This place did not disappoint as well.  What would a trip to SDC be, without a batch of that Kettle corn. Its another great walk around food, that is easy to handle and tastes great!       There are a ton of things to try while your out at the SDC. For one the ambiance is amazing, and walking around is an immersion into the past. Things are always really clean and well kept, and food just seems to be everywhere. Here are the first things I would try coming into the park.  1) The walking taco -a season pass hold gets a pretty good discount on this delicious delight. The taco is packed with sour cream, tomatoes, beef and cheese, and is perfect for walking around.  They serve it in a little hut, and you go over and they make it right there. While I saw the sights and rode the rides, I enjoyed this amazing spectacle of a taco. And the doritos weren't a bad touch either.  2) The cinnamon rolls when you first arrive through the gift shop and take a Suttle left, are amazing. Their big and so delicious. My #1 Restaurant at Silver Dollar City in 2023 Christmas time      There is so much to see and do at SDC, especially during Christmas time. MMMM hot chocolate  and a warm sweater. But this year they've added an amazing Barbecue restaurant. Here is the  menu   above. And it was worth traversing the heavy crowds to enjoy this fantastic place. We did  the two meat   combo and save about $10 and ate for a family of four on $39 dollars. The  Rivertown smokehouse was   clean and very delightful for your next trip.
