  When Ed Played a Paul   As an innovator in so many areas, after fame really came, Eddie was rarely seen with traditional guitars. It's not that they aren't great, it was that people had begun to see him a certain way. With a strat style guitar, or one of his own inventions. This picture was taken from the early days, where he was trying a multitude of guitars, looking for the right fit for shows. This gold top les paul later lost one of it's knobs.    When Elvis Played Pine Bluff in 1976 Yes, that's right. Elvis Played the historic Pine Bluff Arkansas. He had a small plane he took to local areas around Memphis, and he considered Pine Bluff to be one of those places. He flew into our small airport and mad his way to the Pine Bluff Convention center, just up from Historic main street, near the public library. What a beautiful place it was. And knocked the socks off of Pine Bluff as he often did, anywhere he played.  Much has been written about this historic moment in Pine Bluff. But people forget we had a lot of entertainers come through Pine Bluff in the 70's and 80's. Charro's was an amazing Place Located on Olive street this was an easy run from anywhere in Pine Bluff. And all that cheese dip magic had to happen, if you were dining in. My mom took me here many times, all through grade school. Hilton Branson Landing view at night .............This is a nice little video I filmed at night, overlooking the Branson Landing. I'm actually up on the 1oth floor Holding my camera as I stare out at the landing. What an amazing time. The room was awesome, as it was the night my wife graduated from college with her masters degree.       Over the years it's been prevalent that SDC knows how to survive. Having opened in May of 1960, they've been around for 60 years! Even with the events of the last two years, SDC has managed to stay open and still create a great park, even with the Naysayers. After reading last Decembers reviews, on tripadvisr. I know that people still had a great time at the park.        During Covid I know people have tried to be patient, but maybe patience had just run out. With all the crowds and limited availability of the rides, people were just frustrated. I went to SDC in 2020 and it was just fantastic. I was very impressed with all the shops and all the fun. My kids had a blast as well.       It's good to see them growing and thinking about the future and purchasing Indian Ridge's 800 acres. And maybe taking something that people have gawked at for years and making into something else.  Indiana Ridge Purchase by SDC SDC Purchases ...

 IT's been confirmed. Silver Dollar City has purchased 800 acres, near the now defunct, and abandoned Indian Ridge resort Located in Branson West, Mo.  Explore the Resort Here: https://branson-localnews.blogspot.com/2022/01/exploring-abandoned-indian-ridge-resort.html Lots of questions have arisen because of this large transaction.  1.
