As an innovator in so many areas, after fame really came, Eddie was rarely seen with traditional guitars. It's not that they aren't great, it was that people had begun to see him a certain way. With a strat style guitar, or one of his own inventions. This picture was taken from the early days, where he was trying a multitude of guitars, looking for the right fit for shows.
