 Last Night at Qdoba Branson Landing 2022        I always love it when I can hit qdoba at the Branson Landing. It's a fantastic place, with a ton of food made from scratch. They cook all the chicken, and steak right there and make some delectable delights. Sauces are fresh and veggies are fresh.  Things to try on your trip: 3 street tacos. They are always good, they were out of hard shell, so I chose corn, and they were so good. My wife always has the burrito and it is so big. Last night at Flat Creek    Flat Creek Never Ceases to amaze. Locatred in Galena Mo, this is a treasure of a drive, and the atmosphere and people are fantastic. Everytime we go, we have the pulled pork nachos, with tons of cheese olives and all kinds of stuff. It is just amazing. It is just the wife and I, we leave the kids at home, and we go and have a fantastic meal. We also divide a burger as our entree as the main course.   Ways to stay cool when it's HOT in Branson       Everyone hates the heat, including me. Here is a quick lightning fast list to be the heat in Branson.  1) Water Parks-this is your first choice to plan to cool off! Some places to look at are White Water, Welk Resort, Still Water Resort, Grand Country, all boast summer fun, and cool experiences.  2) Find a shade and park in it, and crack your windows. Add a cover for the front of your vehicle. You might drop 10 degrees and not have to cool all that down since fuel is so high.  3)Room A/C-keep it on 64. Not low enough to freeze the unit up, but just right to keep it cool while your gone.  4)Hydrate,Hydrate, Hydrate, keep water near you at all times. If your headed to SDC they have the natural springs on, that you can walk under and lots of shade in different areas. I wanted to do a triple decker food article, where everything imaginal is presented in the article.  1) Best Barbecue-It's still Pop's Smoke shack in Kimberling City, Mo. If your an intense fan of barbecue and lake views, this is the spot for you.    There is always a lot going on in this eclectic area. From shows, to sunsets, to Silver Dollar City. Branson is a must visit for all your vacation needs. Right now there is a lot of construction going on. And mostly in the restaurant arena. From more coffee (We just had two starbucks open up on the strip) to fine dining dijour.  Here's the list of new restaurants opening up sooooon!    My #1 Pick for Amazing Chinese food    If you succulent Crab Rangoon, spicey sushi, and great soups are your game, this restaurant 9 minutes from Branson is your choice. Chopstics located in Branson West is amazing. I have been eating there for years. It is worth the drive just to enjoy the crab rangoon. They also have great Cashew chicken, Spicey General Cho's chicken, and so many other things. A full array of sushi it's unheard of in this area. Yes there are other choices for sushi,if you want to do the sit down thing, watch them juggle an egg on the end of a spatula.  My number 1 pick for amazing Mexican food in Branson                                           At Cantina Loredo 06/10/22        As you know I am a tremendous fan of all food. Barbecue is one of my favorites, but Mexican and sushi are my second best. So today I'd like to highlight Cantina Loredo. It is a bit pricey but is an amazing place. My best Barbecue pick hands down!     I've done a lot of Barbecue and I must confess it is all good. But there is one that stands out in the area and offers amazing views.  Pops Smoke shack is amazing. It gives you that smokey taste just under the nose, that travels right back down to the food as you eat it. So there is something in the way they smoke their meets. And they give you a lot of food, so much so we had to take ours to go and we had the rest for dinner that night. And we are a family of four. I like rib crib, and famous Dave's and all the rest. But this local restaurant blows them away. Located in Kimberling city Mo, you get to enjoy the views, and the food all in one location. It will take you about 15 to 20 minutes, and there are other things to do in Kimberling. Pop's is right on the water and has out door seating as well.  The Best Ozark Breakfast I've ever had        This is the best Ozarks Breakfast I've ever had. I don't mean to brag but I've eaten all over, and this is the one. Here is the picture of the breakfast I had. The sauce on this was amazing.    The Nachos were amazing! Located in Nixa Mo the Morning Day cafe is amazing! All there syrups and sauces are well taken care of, this is a must stop when coming down 65, just a hop skip and a jump from Nixa's main street. You will be amazed.
