Branson is always hosting something new! And luckily this is just one of those majestic marketplaces matriculating in Mesmerizing Music,Mimickry,and Meals! Wow, that was a tongue twister. We've got 3 new restaurants to chose from. Which one will you chose. 1) Moe's Southwest Grill -located on highway 76 inside the shopping center next to the Branson Mall and Price Chopper This quick to go style dining is not to be missed. From the Art Vandaley burrito (From Seinfeld) to other mouthwatering temptations. This might just be your first choice. Moe's is now open. And All of Branson is very excited. Located right in front of Price Chopper in the new strip mall that was built. (Which also houses a new subway, with a rumored touch screen order system to come soon) this Southwest Grill has great specials. Opening day they had burrito's for three dollars, and the first 50 who were in line also got Free burrito's for a year. How could you get tired of that! 3 Burrito's to chose from including Art Vandalay,The Homewrecker, and Joey Bag of Donuts. Branson is chock full of great things to do. Here's an incredible list of 5 things you can do, if you have an afternoon free in Branson, Mo. 1)Hollywood wax museum-they update this exhibit often, with new figures and exciting things to do once you get inside. Its adorned with a king kong at the top of the building, to catch your eye as you go by. They have been around for a while, creating the assurance that there is much to do here.  2)Titanic-they extened their initial five year contract for Branson, and have been hugely succesfull, worth checking out when your in town.  3)Ripley's believe it or not-planting a huge Optimus Prime out front has been great for this attraction. People are out and about all the time taking pictures in front of it, opening a great big door to see the rest of the show.  4)Shepperd of the Hills outdoor play is back. And in a big way, a cool local attraction, with local folks as the stars of the show. Worth checking into.  5)College...

One of the great best kept secrets in B-town is actually what you can do in your down  time. When your not seeing a luxurious show, or eating at a great Restaurant, you can relax (as Frankie would say) in one of our awesome swimming pools. 1) Castle Rock - completly designed to be a destination, and not just an attraction this sleep and slumber hotel & waterpark, is not to be missed. There is always something to like in Branson, Mo. And here latley a lot has been popping up regarding this great City.  1)A very Barry Branson-non other Than Greg Brady (Barry Williams)himself. This show is not to be missed. Partnered with the Haygoods, this is worth checking out. One episode highlights the beauty of Table Rock Lake, so get ready to enjoy every Thursday night on GAC.  2)Branson Famous-is another great Reality-Drama about Branson. Featuring the Baldknobbers, Branson's first family of 76 Country Music fame, this one is not to be missed as well. And you can find them on Facebook under you guest it Branson Famous.  3)We always lie to Strangers-now streaming on Netflix. This is also not to be missed. Highlighting a show that was struggling at the time, the Mayor is also interviewed. The documentary also tried to pull controversy out of the community. They are here. Under a mountain of press, desire, and long waits. Chik-fil-a has finally opened. Over a hundred people, waiting in the snow,sleet and rain, in tents. For this magnificent chain restuarant to open.And to top it all off, they gave away a free sandwitch to every person that attended Woodland hills church today. Located next to Wendy's and Mcdonalds downtown Branson, you can hit Chik-fil-a right as you come onto historic Highway 76 off of Highway 65. Pro's and cons of this location, are ofcoarse all of the traffic generated from 76 and all of the traffic headed to the Landing. The downtown area is filling up fast with new projects, gas stations, boutique hotels, and a few new shops. Chik-fil-a will be a great new addition. 

Homeless in Branson-Where people who work in the area live, without a home! branosnisfun.com Extended stay is becoming more and more of a controversial issue in Branson these days. The concern stems from recent issues at several extended stay motels. And the concern for families that live and work in the area, that are living the extened stay life.       Families not able to afford deposits, and first and last in an apartment, sometimes become victims of the system. Branson has always needed a very strong workforce, in the housekeeping,restaurant and attraction venue. And some of the extended stay folks work in these industries. With the rise of crime in the area, and stemming from issues in the extened stay segment, Branson has to make some changes.       My suggestion would be to put a cap on hotels that are not extened stay, and holding them to that. In Branson we love our shows, and we love our area. But the theater business these days, has been a turbulant market. Since the Branson Mall was hit by the Leap Year Tornnado, a lot of shows haven't had a place to call home. With the season resuming to a nine month schedule, shows have had to tighten their belt. We're wishing these shows a possible great 1015.  1) The 80's Ladies- this was a great show. But due to dwindleing crowd numbers and one of the lead performers going over to the Baldknobbers, there is a stong possibility that these 80's Ladies have sung their last song.  2) Taylor Reed -two previous seasons at the Old Kirby Vanburch theater, he made the best go of it Possible. I did stop in and see this show, and it was excellent. Hopefully he will end up somewhere this year.  3) Kirby Vanburch- a staple at the Lodge of the Ozarks , Kirby did his best to hose an upclose and personal show at the Lodge. His show closed at the end of 2014.  4) Thunderbird ...

Living locally in Branson is a great thing. You always get to hear all the gossip and juice around town. And discern for yourself wether its true or just fancifull farce. And we've had a lot of that over the years, from Disney purchasing land in the 90's to gambling to all sorts of things. But the Grand Palace was sort of an Enigma. It had a good run for a lot of years,and hosted a wagon full of great entertainers. From Glenn Campbell , to collective soul, to Styx. Its look from the outside to its grand staircase, inspire quite a jaw dropping experience when you went there. Well its been purchased and thats good. But it appears from the company that boought it, that they want to keep a tight lip. And I don't blame them, this area is competitive and if someone got wind of what they are doing, that might put a spoke in their tire.
