Little Sushi house is closed 05/03/2019 This was literally the best Sushi place in Branson. The good people here ran this for ten years!Sorry to see it go ! This was an amazing place. And also held the title of "Best spicey tuna I've ever had" And spicey Salmon, Dynamite roll, and sashimi.       Little Sushi house started about 10 years ago, and was really the first sushi place I fell head over heels for. And got me to try sushi at other places. Lee and her husband worked, what seemed like 24-7 to bring incredible Sushi to Branson.      For them it was Stressful in the beginning. Starting a new Business with just the two of them, and a small child to raise. But once people tried the Sushi it took off. The perfect spices mixed onto the fish inside the tuna, salmon,squid, octupus, white fish, and all the seafood they served.      Over the years occasionally they took a day off, which was slow Sunday.   Branson Says Goodbye to "Tom Mullica If anyone could  market themselves, this guy could. I used to see his advertisements everywhere dressed as the Lovable Hobo. Talent to say the least, was an understatement. After his show ended, I didn't realize he actually had stayed around Branson. From time to time, I would glance over and see him in the supermarket, but that hasn't happened in the last couple of years.  I remember the Huge sign over at the mansion theater with him on the side of the building, before the Peter Pan show came in. And thought this guy must have some chops to carry a theater of this size. And he did for several years. He did an amazing tribute to Red Skelton, and that was his show here in Branson. Another bits of his claim to fame was his vanishing cigarette tricks. If you haven't seen it you have to. His artistry in these magic tricks is amazing. I love all things food.  Hence my Branson Restaurants page. So when I read about all the great things their doing by Bringing bigfoot to town. I was elated. All the news isn't quite out yet, but from What I suspect its going to be great. And this is just the nice apple pie that Branson needs.  I've envisioned Tacos or Burritos or Hot dogs Chicago style or even pizza. The Trucks are going to be on the lot with the famed Bigfoot ride, and is a very origionel idea. the owners have applied for their permits, so they are serious and not just another rumor. So as I get more news about the famed Bigfoot ride coming to 76 I will keep you posted on what foods they've chosen for the trucks. Bigfoot sightings in Branson once again. No its not the kind of Big foot that could kick the winter blues. But its still a good one, or great one. Bigfoot is coming. The ride and it will over look the luxurious 76 strip, and the 7 acres of Days Inn property. Giving visitors something to smile about. And plenty of internet video and pictures to boot. All of the approvals have been met, with maybe a few still left on the table over at the city. This project has been in the works for a while, and will make a fine edition to Branson. And bring some much needed excitement to Branson, once again. The Day the Roller Coaster Died Whenever an iconic entity dies in Branson, a part of it dies with the local folk. And it was no different the day the wooden- rustic roller coaster came down at Celebration City.  Hedged on several sides by rope and wire, they pulled and they pulled until the roller coaster fell. The folks who filmed the event waited for nearly a day to get the shot of the coaster coming down. Celebration City which is owned by Silver Dollar city, decided it was time to demo. And demo they did. Some of the wood was donated to the church that resides inside the park of Celebration City . The Church Woodland Hills family church used the wood to make different items. Battle of the Branson Christmas Lights  No not battle of the Planets. Which was a program in the 70's with Kiap,Jason, Mark and Princess. Sorry Tiny I just couldn't give you a mention. Its Battle of the Branson Christmas lights.      There was a change earlier this year. The Christmas lights were moving to another Location and the company that was putting them on in the industrial park, didn't want to hose them anymore. Another company picked up the Gauntlet, and has put on a very nice chow over off of 248.      Well last night my wife and family  were driving around and started seeing the signs. Turn here, keep going strait, take a left. Several signs for a competing show were at the casey's on 248.      Apparently, someone has come in and leased or bought the old show, and we now have two competing Christmas light shows in almost the same location.
