My top ten dates with my wife in Branson, Mo As I open up all of my Blogs I love  Branson  Bransonisfun.com  and I love to go and do exciting things with my wife in and around town. We Hike, go to shows, Restaurants, and do amazing things with our Kids. And when we get the chance, we plan a great date night. We can usually put together a nice night of sunsets, sushi, and sensation. 1) The Branson Landing Date -we usually show up around six and walk over and have a cup of Joe at the Local starbucks right across from the Landing, and plan what we are gonna do. We will either go have a great meal, or do a little bit of shopping, as the landing rolls its carpets up around six. Its also important about what we want to spend. If its $20.00 we will go over and eat at Charlie's Sub shop, its very good and they prepare everything right in front of you. $40,00 we will eat at the Seafood place on the landing $60.00 Cantina Loredo is where we'll eat.      Side Walking in Branson- my wife and I love to do a bit of walking. To find things to do, window shop,and wonder, and best of all rest. We love to have a good meal, go for a walk, do some antiquing and make a night of it. Here is my list of best spots to do some sidewalking, and you'll be better for it.  1. The Branson Landing -this has to be #1 as you have a good mile of shops, restaurants, bars, and all kinds of places to window shop.  Restaurants: Subway, Garfields,Cantina Loredo,Buffalo wild wings, Fall Guys (Which may have changed now) and tons more. A great array of Restaurants to choose form.  Shops-Chicos,Belks,GNC,Rack room shoes,Dress Barn, Victoria Secret,Maurices,Hot topic, and many more! What to do at Branson Landing in 2022? There is so much to do at the Landing (Said with British accent) that I don't know where to begin. They've added so much (the balloon,Parakeet Pete's) that I get excited just thinking about it. During the summer they have free concerts as well, and it's just a great safe place to take the kids. How to avoid Branson tourist traps   As you all know I love where I live, I love Branson. And as with any tourist areas, there are always a couple of bumps in the road. And in Branson the tourist traps are prevalent, and sometime worth avoiding.  1. If the sign on the outside of the business seems to good to be true, it probably is.  2. If you go in and they try to step you over to something other than buying tickets for your show, i.e. a timeshare tour, a meeting, a sit down, beware they want to sell you something else. This is a  trap! 3.If they ask for a $200.00 deposit on the phone its probably a little fishy. 4. If they call you on the phone via a telemarketer its probably a trap.  5.If they want you to go somewhere other than the theater or the attraction to pick up your tickets, or get your deposit back its probably a trap.  6. If they have a great sign outside, and when you get inside they only have shows that no one would ever go see ...

I was driving on 76 the other day, and I noticed a sneaky trick. One out of three hundred cars try this. As you line up with all the other cards to make your left turn onto 76, from 65. There is always this one car that thinks hey I can cruise over here in this empty lane and then at the last minute work my way into traffic.And I won't have to stay stacked up here in traffic. It happens a lot, and people do it all the time, form multiple places on this great U.S. of A. Step 1-Pick your destination Step 2-Decide where your coming from Step 3-find a back road or side road that is congruent with where you want to go. And every time you visit, get familiar with taking those back roads and you can't go wrong. Especially in the Spring and summer Branson can get pretty hot, and pretty crazy with traffic so each time you come, is another chance to get used to using Gretna road and fall creek road, and the new road next to Dixie Stampede. The Day 76 closed down One of the few times I've ever seen 76 close down, was the day that Boxcar Willies funeral was taking place. It was a nice memorial of an event. They closed 76 down from east to west to give the hearse room to Drive ole Boxcar's body down the length of the strip. I felt like that was a pretty cool honer, considering boxcar was Free Weekly Newsletter with tons of Branson free stuff advertising Branson clear back to the 70's. And new how to market a show and bring people to town. He was very nice to all the locals and was really considered a local himself. Evertime I met him he was very nice. So it was a sight to see that hears working its way down 76, and knowing that it was rare that they don't often close the whole thing down. Pretty awesome. R.I.P boxcar.
