  Why did Michael Anthony make such a terrible deal inside Van Halen during the creation of 1984? Eddie and Michael were at it that is for sure! Eddie didn't feel Michael was pulling his weight and  that he was a terrible Bass player. It's even rumored that Eddie Played many bass parts on future  albums to come. Eddie and the guys invested $50000 each, in a t  shirt  merchandising company, through their manager Noel Monk. They were always looking for  ways to make  money, and at that time merchandising was the key to good business. So they built  their own line of t  shirts and merchandise, and were looking for ways to get people to their t shirt  booth.   Behind the scenes of the making of the famed 1984 Van Halen Album  Eddie Van Halen had a huge effect on my childhood. From the first time I heard eruption blaring out of a malibu car window, to picking up the guitar. He has been there, and on the day he passed it was horrific. Last week I was rummaging through some videos on you tube, and I ran into some great videos about the behind the scenes of how 1984 was made. Here are my top 10 take aways.  1) Eddie didn't want to listen to Ted Templeman and David Lee roth anymore. He felt like they were blocking the creativity. So with his new found wealth, he built his own studio 5150. 2. Roth didn't want Eddie Playing the keys, he said " your a guitar slinger, play guitar"! 3. Ted Templeman didn't hear a hit on the initial demos of Jump, but eventually he relented.  4. David Lee and Ted snuck Michael Mcdonald into the studio to help finish I'll wait. Billy Gails is  the most talked about restaurant in all of Branson. From their  Humongous pancakes, supreme bacon and hash browns, this place is  not to be missed. As you zoom down highway 265, you can’t help but notice the  massive amount of cars,and new parking lot they have built to  accommodate them.  From Campers to locals to tourists alike this  massive size breakfast of mammoth, is not to be missed. Guy Fierries was amazing as usual down on the Branson Landing. The Price is what it is these days. But the service was good and the food was amazing. I had the Nachos as usual as our appetizer. They had pulled pork and an amazing sauce. My wife had hamburger that she shared with our daughter, and my son and I split the steak burger. We added some Mac n Cheese as well. All was amazing.
