 I'm seeing a lot of cool new things around town, opening up for the fall. Lots of cool little food trucks and restaurants that are getting ready to pop! By fall we will have not just one but two chick filets now. Here is our top new things here or coming to Branson.  Top new restaurants and Food trucks coming to Branson for fall 1) Chick filet is coming in across from Prestleys jubilee and it will be just as grand as the other one. It won't have as much space, but it will still be great! 2) Hebrews coffee which is right across from the Hong Kong buffet on 76 where they had that little theme park.  3) Churros food truck is parked next to wal mart. I haven't had time to try it yet, but it looks so good.  4) Happy Joe's is off to a good start at the Red Lion and it looks like their doing good.  5) Cheddars is doing fantastic and looks like they are here for the long haul.   A Branson Legend has passed away      The great Shoji Tabuchi one of the founding fathers of Branson has passed away, after a long  dignified battle with cancer. He was almost 80 years old, and a pioneer to Branson.  His theater boasted Million dollar bathrooms, and the men's room had a pool table.   Who was the best Van Halen singer? Who was your Favorite Van Halen Singer?      I feel like they all should be equal to their parts. Like without Dave, Sammy or Gary would not have existed. I heard a theory the other day that Ted Templeman wanted Sammy to sing the first album. I just feel it wouldn't have been the same. Dave really brought the blues, and I feel like early on he was very credible and talented, with a great tone.       When Sammy showed up, he brought the I can't drive 55 vibe and combined it with a great season with Edward, and it was the perfect mix. Dreams, Get Up, good enough, all amazing songs. Dave couldn't of sang that material he didn't have the range at that point. Sammy was just amazing. But Sammy wouldn't of sounded good on the Me Wise Magic stuff. They both did a lot in their own right. Dave was a better showman hands down than Sammy.   2004 was a tumultuous time for Van Halen.  Two failed reunions with David Lee Roth, and Michael  Anthony had been out trying to pick up other gigs, and started a hot sauce line. Sammy Hagar had  been a great resource for him, and he had began touring with Sammy and putting bands together.  So the fabled 2004 tour, which was a train wreck, rested in the hands of Sammy Hagar to make it  work. Sammy agreed that he wouldn't tour if Michael wasn't involved, so an agreement was put  together that Michael would tour, but waive his royalties for the time being with Van halen, just for  that tour. A lot of speculation has occurred over the years, as to whether the agreement was  perminant, but I believe it was not.
