Over the years a lot has come and gone here in Branson. I guess what motivated me to write this, were some of the crazy comments on the book. People have been saying since 2000 that Branson was going down, and that the shows were dying, a hell in a hand basket kind of mentality. Well 24 years late Branson is still going strong and enjoying record highs in attendance. Whether it's a show or a shopping mall, or an attraction, something always replaces the dearly departed theater, or attraction. It's a place for families first and foremost and that's the real attraction. Here's a list from the Branson Time vault, that will amaze you. The Ray Stevens, RFD theater stood for 34 years...
