What is Changing at the Red Roof Mall for 2015? Ball Parks of America Update!
Origionaly posted on 06/21/12 There has been some curiosity here in Branson that the red roof is closing. But it is talked about here in Branson that few stores may be staying open. Some stores have gotten approval to continue doing business at the red roof mall. Red roof mall, which was built in the early 1990's is more than just a concrete jungle. Its a part of Branson heritage. It is a shame to see all the stores relocate to other locations. The word on the street is that Legs Hanes Balley, and Crocks will continue to stay open and run business as usual. This seems to pose several problems for the historic mall. Will customers continue to visit just two stores? What will the city do? Will they start eviction proceedings? stay tuned for updates? Also for more info go to Melodylanebranson.com for more.

New Update for 2015

As of the last few weeks, BallParks of America has purchased or leased the land that the Majestic Red roof sits on and is going to put several venues to play softball and baseball on. They also have plans in the works to do a few more things than that, but are also putting up sleeping quarters for the teams as well. Conveniently located right of the 76 strip, this is one of the best locations to do this with. The land was there, as they say. I'll update this article more, once we have more information. But it was nice to contrast this current info, with a June 2012 Article that Branson-local wrote. Enjoy!
