I'm a fan of Hotels, I guess it comes with the territory here in Branson. We have a ton of hotels and motels, and attractions and people at various times of the year. I was disappointed to hear that the Ramada was closing again. It had originally closed before I believe under other owners and went to auction and was re-acquired by the old owners. And now stands to go to auction again. More on Branson behind the scenes right here
I know when a hotel is starving, the first thing it does is try to get renovation. The lobby looked fantastic the few times I had stopped by, and the rest of the property wasn't so bad either. But one full building was closed and was considered for renovation as well.
The employees worked hard at this property and from what I've heard will continue on to get the property closed down. The owner is older and would like to move on and possibly retire. Branson-Local news is wishing them the best.
