 Top Ten stars that Played the Grand Palace back in the day!

     The Grand Palace opened to a stunning array of amazing Pageantry! Louis Mandrell and Glenn 

Campbell were slated as co-hosts, and a plethora of stars were set to follow. Majestic landscaping 

out front, within the shroud of a Southern-esque plantation. Or so we thought? The Place had a 

pretty good run, from stars at their Heyday from Neil Mcoy to Bill Cosby. Don't throw stones just

 yet, Cosby was ok at that time. But problems were soon to follow. It was all about the set list, and 

the business model. And when those things collided,and the palace tried to run a local show, or 

multiple shows in such a large theater, the end was eminent. Here is a list of some of the biggest 

and smallest players of at the palace de Grande!

1)Bill Cosby-as mentioned above he was in good standing at the time, and played the palace multiple times. 

2)Carrie Underwood-after her Idol days she sold the Palace out in record time. 

3)Styx-Played an amazing show at the Grand Palace. It was a Grand Illusion. 

 4)Neil Mccoy-I actually attended this show, and it was fantastic. Neil did an amazing job keeping the audience entertained and focused. He sung several of his hits, and sold out all 4 thousand seats. 

5)Brad Paisley-around 2005 played the palace to a sold out crowd. 

6) George Jones played the palace in 2005 as well. 

7) Collective soul-played the grand palace back in the 90's and I heard it was pretty amazing. 

8) K.C. and the sunshine band-K.C. was quite the showman, and very nice in person. I actually got to meet him and get his autograph,what a cool guy and a cool show!

9)The Miss USA pageant, it was rumored that Arnold was here, but I never heard quite for sure.
