This weeks Branson reviews from Facebook

Hi yall! We got home last night from another wonderful Branson trip and I am going to post my reviews. There will be one review that might burn some biscuits, but I will try to be as nice as possible

😆
We were just north of Branson on Wednesday evening during the tornado warning. That was fun. Right before the storm as we were heading down 65, some jackwagon was driving a pickup pulling a small trailer with a large piece of plywood in it not tied down. Yep, you guessed it, that wood caught wind and would have been in my windshield had I been any closer. I don't think anyone behind me got hit either, thank goodness.
And now, for the reviews:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Green Gables Inn- what a delightful stay. I am not one to spend a lot on accommodations as we are not in the room a lot so a comfy bed and a fridge is really all we need. Our room was clean and although lacking in decor on the walls, was quite charming. Every evening we came back to our room having clean towels and the trash taken out. Staff were very pleasant as well.
⭐️Billy Gail's at Branson Mills- This is the worst review I have EVER given a place since coming to Branson. The hostesses were lovely, but once we were seated things went south so fast. It was almost 25 minutes before we got to order drinks. Our waitress was probably the rudest I have ever encountered. She could not have been more annoyed with either the customers or her job. I couldn't decide which. I watched her treat another table the same as she did us and I really wanted to come unglued. I am a server part time besides working my full time job and I get it, I really do. I did it full time up until 2 years ago. Some days being a server is HARD. Nothing goes right. But attitude is everything, and well, she had attitude alright. Poor girl probably makes decent tips with the volume of people, but she could make better tips just by changing her 'tude, i am sure. The food came out cold. Just not a great experience, but maybe it was just a fluke. Please don't crucify me for this review, I am really hoping it is not always like that.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The Haygoods. This family is AMAZING! There will never be a time that I go to Branson that I do not go see them. My tip to anyone wanting to go see them: buy tickets on their website (my seats are always awesome) AND buy tix EARLY. They sell out a lot. As soon as I know we are going and when, I buy the tickets!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Outback- The food was pretty good, good service.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-McFarlain's Family Restaurant- my hubby had breakfast and I had a burger, the food was good and the service excellent! Our waitress was extremely pleasant and I enjoyed talking to her.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Redneck Comedy Tour Bus- do yourself a favor and get your fanny on this bus. Easily our favorite new activity to do when we go to Branson from here on out, we laughed our butts off and had a great time.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- The Landing- Always fun to browse the Landing! Had a drink at Landshark and got stopped by the timeshare poopyheads.. (For those following my other post, we did NOT waste time and go to their presentation😄)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Jackie B. Goode's- perfect place to get a sandwich for dinner as neither of us wanted a big heavy meal. Try the chips. My husband really liked the chicken salad.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Steamy Joe's Cafe- Yummy breakfast, superb service with a smile from every single person working there. We felt welcome and will definitely go back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Silver Dollar City- Yeah, it's a bit pricey (one person we chatted with called it Steal Your Dollar City🤣), but I found it to be so charming. I had the biggest corn dog I had ever seen (yummy), we rode a couple of coasters (yup, I am definitely not as young as I used to be!🤣 but I will do it again!) The only thing I wish (and this is so stupid, I know🤣) is that the pennant flags that you walk under were more summery colors. They are pretty, but are more suited for autumn😄 Fun park, if you can swing it, check it out!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- Cakes n Cream Diner- Four stars only because our pizza was over cooked😉. Shakes and malts were yummy and the drive in theater out back was cute. I would say nostalgic, but we live about 30 minutes away from a drive in theater here, so it's just a way of life for us😊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Hurts Donut- my hubby loves the old fashioned donuts and we each got a dirty dozen to take home for our coworkers on our way out of town. They were quite the hit at work today!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Lambert's- Totally worth the hour long wait to get those rolls and my favorite: frog legs!
After a stop at Buc-ee's in Springfield, we made our trek back to Illinois. Thank you, Branson, for another wonderful getaway. I leave a piece of my heart every time I come home. I love the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, but they don't make me feel the way I do when in the Ozarks. I can't explain it. I hope you all have a wonderful and safe trip to Branson and remember: GET YOUR BUTTS ON THAT BUS! I promise, it will be the best time!🥰
P.S.--- I am so sorry this is so long!🤣🤣
