Has the Little Mermaid ended before it Began?
I thought this was a great concept, that might go some where in  Branson. I hate to see shows go down, and like to see new stuff come to town. But as of yesterday, Disney's Little Mermaid is on hold. The owner reportedly has run out of money, and is seeking new investors. 
     When your in the dramatic arts, its hard to make a buck sometimes. It takes lots of overhead, and resources to get a show off the ground. Even though we have lots of theater space around here, just itching for a great show, it doesn't always happen. 
     The employees did do the right thing. They protested in front of the theater yesterday. Letting it be known that they were behind the show and wanted it to continue. And that maybe a new investor could come along and give the show the push it needs. We will wish them luck and I will keep you posted.
