Investor's come to Branson to spend money, just as our retail shopping enthusiasts, come to shop, go to shows, and hit Silver Dollar city. So what happens if your tribute to Kenny Rogers starts to fail. Well as Kenny would say "know when to hold them, know when to fold them, and know when to run!" Well so many shows run, that it fills the marketing landscape like a landfill. Brochures run about $600.00 a box, and its cash up front to the printeters. Theater rent is a huge cost, unless your just renting a time slot off of someone else who is paying rent. And all the costs that go with it. Also venders that sell tickets, won't necesarily deal with you until you've gotten yourself established. So where does it start, as opposed to where does it end. 1) Internet presence-how does your brand interact on the internet, do you have a facebook page, business page, connecting phone number to book your tickets direct.                    Branson-Local News Blog Well its official. Karen best won the mayoral election yesterday. Fantastic news for Branson. But was there something that tainted local awareness in regards to our current mayor. I think so. The scorecard resulted in a 900-738 vote for Best. Some could gander that last weeks insensitivity by the city and the April fools day joke, were heavy levy on this years election. If you haven't had a chance to read my Richard Branson backlash article, it might be time to do that. Since this prank has affected the turnout of the Branson election.  Backlash from Richard Branson joke! I'm really a fan of our current mayor and Best as well. So maybe it was time for a change. It will be interesting to see what changes Karen Best will make, and we here at Branson Local wish her, well the best. 

People are Crazy . That is self evident by the things they do in their everday lives, and the things they do on vacation. As much as Branson strives to do creat a safe happy environment for the vacationers here. Many people see a vacation as something that needs to be daring, adventourous, and for some down right dangerous. Here are the top five things you can do on vacaction in Branson, that may not be such a good idea. Branson has always been a place trying to maintain its prosperity. A place where tourists come and enjoy themselves and 10,000 local residents entertain over 7 million tourists annually. The "locals" as we're called work hard, play hard, and try and stay focused on the massive amount of business and tax revenues, that come to our fair city. So what happens when the higher ups make fun of this status qua. Well you get a lot of unhappy local citizens in a time of re-election. From the respons on socail media today, (Facebook,Twitter, and beyond) the locals have spoken. And they are not happy!  So will they speak at the polls during this next mayoral run? As hard as the people of Branson work around here, and the roller coaster confidence in how Branson is doing at the moment. This event has not helped. Branson is always hosting something new! And luckily this is just one of those majestic marketplaces matriculating in Mesmerizing Music,Mimickry,and Meals! Wow, that was a tongue twister. We've got 3 new restaurants to chose from. Which one will you chose. 1) Moe's Southwest Grill -located on highway 76 inside the shopping center next to the Branson Mall and Price Chopper This quick to go style dining is not to be missed. From the Art Vandaley burrito (From Seinfeld) to other mouthwatering temptations. This might just be your first choice. Moe's is now open. And All of Branson is very excited. Located right in front of Price Chopper in the new strip mall that was built. (Which also houses a new subway, with a rumored touch screen order system to come soon) this Southwest Grill has great specials. Opening day they had burrito's for three dollars, and the first 50 who were in line also got Free burrito's for a year. How could you get tired of that! 3 Burrito's to chose from including Art Vandalay,The Homewrecker, and Joey Bag of Donuts. Branson is chock full of great things to do. Here's an incredible list of 5 things you can do, if you have an afternoon free in Branson, Mo. 1)Hollywood wax museum-they update this exhibit often, with new figures and exciting things to do once you get inside. Its adorned with a king kong at the top of the building, to catch your eye as you go by. They have been around for a while, creating the assurance that there is much to do here.  2)Titanic-they extened their initial five year contract for Branson, and have been hugely succesfull, worth checking out when your in town.  3)Ripley's believe it or not-planting a huge Optimus Prime out front has been great for this attraction. People are out and about all the time taking pictures in front of it, opening a great big door to see the rest of the show.  4)Shepperd of the Hills outdoor play is back.
