Where to get Wet in Branson + Summer show reviews There is all kinds of Summer fun going on in Branson this year. Like I've never seen it. With tons of great water fun going on and the water attractions are going strong. And there is about 3 weeks left of Hot Water fun this year. Here is  a list of top ten places to get Wet this summer followed by a show review I recently got to go to. 1 )  White water- Still a great place to go, that gets updated every year and always has tons of activity there. I think we've got about three more weeks of great white water to go. 2) Castle Rock - located on Green Mountain drive every time I go by this place they are full. The people love this water park and it shows.  They also have lodging as well. Has the Little Mermaid ended before it Began? I thought this was a great concept, that might go some where in  Branson. I hate to see shows go down, and like to see new stuff come to town. But as of yesterday, Disney's Little Mermaid is on hold. The owner reportedly has run out of money, and is seeking new investors.       When your in the dramatic arts, its hard to make a buck sometimes. It takes lots of overhead, and resources to get a show off the ground. Even though we have lots of theater space around here, just itching for a great show, it doesn't always happen.       The employees did do the right thing. They protested in front of the theater yesterday. Letting it be known that they were behind the show and wanted it to continue. Living in Branson is awesome. But not all the time. It's a great place, with lots to offer. And some of the nicest people on this planet earth. But there are some drawbacks, so here is a list of just a few. Please leave a comment down below, and subscribe to this blog. 1) Everyone is always on vacation -that's right, everyone but you. There is always a mix of people having a fantastic vacation, and then people living day to day. Its hard to find a shoulder to cry on when everyone is from out of town. About 10,000 locals manage over 4 Million tourists. So its hard when everyone is always on vacation. 2) Traffic -if you live in town or around Branson. Traffic can be crazy. You trying to get to the market to get that carton of eggs. Sometimes its just not going to happen. 3) Health Care -a very limited offering here in Branson. Babies and heart disease is our forte. And anything else you almost need to go to Springfield for. 4) limited Restaurants offerings -once you've...

the Landing is the Big one obviously but there is so much to do downtown. Have a great coffee at Starbucks, or hit one of the great flea Markets, or check out Branson Pawn, or Lightning Pawn shop. Or eat at one of the great Restaurants. The downtown is worth checking out. Here is a list of shops to take a look at while your downtown.  1)Downtown treasures-antiques,flea market items, guitars, this place has it all. Don't miss this place as you walk around downtown.  2)Lightning Pawn-the owner used to hang with Elvis. Need we say more. And we can. This is beyond a pawnshop. From DVDs to electronics to Vintage toys, this is the place to take a look.  3)Branson Pawn from the hit reality TV show with non other than local car collector Scott Velvett this place is worth checking out.  4)Two more flea markets side by side across from Starbucks, and many other restaurants mixed in,to check out. 

Top Indoor Pools of Branson, mo I'm a big fan of Hotels that have incredible indoor pools. Here is a list of hotels that have incredible indoor pools.  1) Southern Oaks Inn- an incredible indoor pool located in their back building. One of the best designed indoor pools I have ever seen. If you stay here the pool has to be the number one reason.  2) Stone Castle hotel- two incredible indoor pools, with Jacuzzi's. Newly remodeled these pools are worth checking out. Crystal clear every day you know these pools are well taken care of.  3) The Barrington -quite a unique property in itself. All inside, the pool is located in the right section of the property.  4) Castle rock -Currently under construciton 03/13/22 I'm not sure their indoor pool is working.  But it would be a pool party extravaganze this place is worth checking out. Located on Green Mountain drive, this is the newest water park around. So check it out! 5) Grand Country -boasting indoor and out...

Branson is the place for some great shopping. Ever since the closing of the Red roof mall, Branson's favorite boutiques have expanded and continue to do so. Here is a list of some great spots to get your groove on.  1) Tanger mall -probably one of the best places to shop on black Friday, it is great all year long. And worth the look. From Polo, to LHBP (Leggs,Hanes balley platex) to the Gap. This is the place to be. A few eating spots are mixed in, to get you by until you get to that great store your looking for! 2) The Branson Landing -this place hosts great Restuarants, shops, a million dollar fire spewing fountain. And Lake tours! How do you get all that into one place. Its spread out over 13 Acres, and can be done in a whole day.  3) Apple Tree Mall- for the great flea market feel, this is the place to shop. A good quarter of a  day or so, to get through everything, they have tons of booths. A must see.  4) Downtown treasures -a great place worth the look w...

Antiquing and Branson has always seemed to go together. Ageing country stars, traditional values, and now antiques. Well we've had a lot of antique shops over the years, so its really nothing new really. Well something just old. Here's a list of a few shops where you can go and find some very unique items.  1) Apple tree mall-located mid town, right next to Applebee's this place probably has at least 50,000 square feet of antique fun. Individual booth owners, bring there goods far and wide. Lots of things from DVD's to 1950's and beyond collectibles, swords, clothing, and just about anything is here. This is number one on my list because over the years I've gone here the most.  2)Downtown has two antique shops. On the right hand side as you head down to the landing,  worth a look.  3) Lightning Pawn -opened by their Dad who met Elvis. This pawnshop has all kinds of things.
