Day 7 of my 21 days no carb fast
I think the trick is really insulin. You see when you lower insulin, other nutrients have more room to get inside the cell. More nutrients inside the cell create more nutrients for the muscle to grow. So this round of 21 days of no carb give me the chance to monitor the cummings and goings of this mighty hormone.
Breakfast: Fast until 12:00
12:00 Half a turkey sub sandwhich. Before the carb hit I did :
Cottage cheese: with pecans, and cinnamon
1/2 a sub from subway
Calf presses ( lift up on your toes working the calves)
spoon full of Apple cider vinegar
Then apple cider vinegar water
Then I ate the sub and then did a 10 minute walk. All these tricks are said to help with carb and insulin maintenance.
